October 14, 2020 - 10:00 am

From: Adelaide PHN

Adelaide PHN is currently redesigning how Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) treatment services will be commissioned and implemented across the primary health care sector.

This will be fully outlined within the draft Adelaide PHN AOD Treatment and Quality Framework.

The redesign will align with both contemporary National Treatment and Quality frameworks, takes into consideration local data on substance use prevalence and priority populations of need, and utilises best practice and evidence-based value for money principles.

Our key aim is to support and build capacity of AOD treatment services to be efficient, effective, address gaps where most appropriate, and directed at the areas of greatest need.

We invite all key stakeholders to attend an online forum to hear more about the proposed Adelaide PHN AOD Treatment and Quality Framework and garner your feedback. We will also be launching an online survey shortly after this event, giving an additional opportunity to provide comment on the proposed framework.

Online consultation details are below:

A note on COVID-19:

Adelaide PHN is mindful of the current restrictions in place due to COVID-19 and how quickly these restrictions can change. While we would love to come see you face to face, we have determined the safest way to ensure our engagement can go ahead is virtual.
