SANDAS is excited to announce that we are bringing 360Edge’s Paula Ross back to Ceduna to present a one day workshop on Trauma Informed Care. This workshop is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health.

Does your work with clients need to be more trauma-informed?

This one-day foundation workshop addresses working with clients in a trauma-informed way. This includes understanding trauma and its impacts, identifying signs and symptoms of trauma and conducting trauma screening.

Learning outcomes

  • Essential reflective practice skills and practical response strategies
  • Best-practice in developing a trauma-informed service
  • Strategies for maintaining boundaries and worker well-being

While this workshop is aimed at alcohol and other drug workers, workers in adjacent sectors will benefit such as mental health, homelessness, family services etc.
