Louise has worked in the justice and community services sector for over 15 years, with a strong focus on reducing harm and improving wellbeing for people affected by alcohol and other drug (AOD) use, offending, and social disadvantage.
Louise’s interest in the AOD sector is both professional and systemic: ensuring evidence-based, trauma informed, and restorative approaches that support recovery, agency, and community connection. Louise has overseen the review and development of SMART Recovery programs (Inside Out), and initiatives embedding the Strengths Based and Restorative Justice frameworks into AOD practice.
