Rebecca Ellis is Thorne Harbour Health’s SA Director, striving for an equitable society for all Australian’s. Rebecca has dedicated her career to the social care sector, with over 20 years’ experience serving vulnerable communities. She is a dedicated advocate for creating a fully inclusive society, leading by example and inspiring others to empower those we serve to help them achieve their unique goals. Rebecca, a dedicated individual, has spent the past six years leveraging her valuable experience gained in the United Kingdom to improve the quality of life for marginalised communities in Australia. Her initial role in South Australia was in AOD service delivery for youth and family, providing an operational perspective.

With a Degree in Health and Social Care, a Diploma in Business Management, and additional qualifications in Counselling, Mental Health, Clinical Governance, Safeguarding, and Positive Behaviour Support, Rebecca possesses a diverse and unique skill set that will allow her to make valuable contributions to SANDAS.

Rebecca offers her expertise into the challenges in providing services across metropolitan and regional areas. As a Board Member, Rebecca will use her knowledge and experience to contribute to shaping initiatives and policies that will benefit those we serve.
