Sharna is the Manager of Therapeutic Services at Thorne Harbour Health, overseeing programs in alcohol and other drugs (AOD), mental health, and family and domestic violence to deliver wrap-around support for LGBTIQA+ South Australians. With a background as a culturally diverse social worker and lived experience within the LGBTIQA+ community, Sharna brings extensive expertise in community and human services and a strong commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusion. Sharna advocates for affirmative policies and service delivery that address the unique needs of LGBTIQA+ people affected by AOD use. Previously, Sharna served on the Board of Multicultural Youth of South Australia and remains passionate about influencing systems to better support diverse communities.
